A University of Missouri professor known for her work on Papua New Guinea, Palau and urban Australia is spending the spring semester conducting research in Hawaii and teaching a couple of special courses at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
“On behalf of the University of Hawaii at Hilo, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Jacquelyn Lewis-Harris and husband Gene to the community,” said Michael Marshall, chairman of the UHH Art Department, where Lewis-Harris will teach a special topics course, Art 394: The Arts of Oceania, and a section of Art 101: Introduction to Visual Art.
