Man sought for burglary
Police are searching for a 21-year-old Hilo man wanted for a burglary and theft in Hilo last month.
According to a written police statement, Kalei Kaaumoana is wanted for the Oct. 30 burglary of a home on lower Haihai Street in which several items valued at more than $300 were stolen.
Kaaumoana is described as 5-foot-5, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Police say he’s also wanted for questioning in connection with other burglaries in the Waiakea Uka area.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 935-3311 or to contact Detective John Rodrigues at 961-8222 or email@example.com. Those who prefer anonymity may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
