Filling the Unit-Charity Auction set for hospital
Here’s a new twist in fundraising: A Filling the Unit-Charity Auction.
It’s an easy way to get rid of all your unwanted household/garage stuff that you’ve collected over the years and at the same time do something good for Kona Hospital. Take those items to the office of Power Self Storage to help fill up a storage unit that will be auctioned off to the highest bidder on June 29.
“Please bring items that are in reasonably good condition by June 28,” said Stephanie Kinsey, development assistant for the Kona Hospital Foundation. If you have something that is large that you’re unable to transport, call her office at 322-4587 to arrange a pick-up. Proceeds from Filling the Unit-Charity Auction will be donated to the Kona Hospital Foundation. Power Self Storage is located at 76-6201 Walua Road in Kailua-Kona.
