Barbara Anne Currier, 79, of Captain Cook died July 27 at her home. Born in Oakland, Calif., she was a homemaker. No services. Survived by husband, James Currier of Captain Cook; sons, Robert Currier of Captain Cook, and Michael (Deborah) Currier of Los Gatos, Calif.; brother, Michael (Barbara) Edwards of Stockton, Calif.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Yolanda “Koko” Leinaala Kaleohano, 58, of Hookena died July 25 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in North Kona, she was a housekeeper at Uncle Billy’s Hotel in Kailua-Kona. Celebration of life to be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the family’s residence at Kealia Beach. Casual attire. Survived by husband, Richard Kaleohano Sr. of Hookena; sons, Kevin (Frannie) Agliamof Waipahu of Oahu, Francis Silva of Oahu, Frank (Brandy Boulby) Silva of Arkansas; brothers, Greg (Joanne Bright) Agliam and Darrell (Evelyn) Agliam, all of Hilo, Ronald (Trisha Savella) Nahakuelua of Pahoa, Royden (Pilialoha) Agliam of Eden Rock and Terrance (Corrine Moses) Agliam of Pahoa; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Sadako Kodani, 88, of Hilo died Aug. 16 at her residence. Born in Hilo, she was the retired co-proprietor of Kodani Florist. She was a member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, Buddhist Women’s Association and Hilo Hoyukai. Private services held. No koden. Survived by daughters, Katherine (Charles) Webster of Hilo and Cheryl (Leonard) Torricer of Kailua-Kona; sons, Richard Kodani of Hilo and Leslie (Widi) Kodani of Honolulu; sisters, Fukuyo Yamada of Kahului, Maui, Yoshiko “Bey” Nabara of Hilo, and Marion Lovings of Pearl City; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces. Yoichi “Blackie” Nagao, 87, of Hilo died July 2 at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama facility. Born in Hilo, he was a retired office machines repairman. Private services held. No flowers. Harold Sueoka, 73, of Hilo died July 5 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, he retired as an auto mechanic. Memorial services to be Saturday at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home, Hilo. Visitation at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m. Survived by sisters, Marian (Henry) Hamada of Kauai and Doris Kimura of Hilo; uncles, Yoshito Nishioka of Mililani and Russell Brunk of Maryland; aunts, Carolyn Saito of Aiea and Chiharu Sasaki of California; brother-in-law, Roy Yamashita of Hilo; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
