Dennis Allan “Bronco” Branco Sr., 68, of Hilo died July 20 in Hilo. Born on Oahu, he was a certified welder and mechanic who enjoyed torching, hunting and fishing. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Glad Tidings Church, 113 Kuawa St. Celebration of life services at 11 a.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Inurnment at a later date. Survived by wife, Barbara K. Branco of Hilo; sons, Dennis (Dayna) Branco Jr. and Donovan (Fran) Branco of Hilo; daughter, Dinny’vie Branco of Hilo; brothers, Harry (Hatsue) Branco of Ewa, Oahu, Bruce (Shane) Branco of California and Rodney Branco of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren. Josiah Kealoha, formerly known as “Pake” Gaspar, 65, of Hilo died July 13 at Hilo Medical Center. Born on Molokai, he was a retired professional musician with the groups Manae and Kapaakea Homestead Band and member/choir director of 3 Days and 3 Nights Study Hall of Hilo. Celebration of life and luncheon 11:30 a.m. Friday at Leleiwi (Waiolena Beach Park). Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by sons, Eddie (Malia) Gaspar and Michael Halican of Hilo, Lopaka (Beth) Gaspar of California; daughters, Mary (Ola) Lee, Crissy Distelhorst and Donna Juliussen of Hilo, Makanani Gaspar of Oregon; brothers, Roy McNabb and Gene McNabb of the mainland; sisters, Ipo (Fred) Koyaso of Makaha, Oahu, Joelyn Gaspar, Shirley Olsen, Mary (Mike) Nalley and Maxine Linary of the mainland; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Mary Keller, 65, of Pahoa died July 24 at Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. Visitation 1-1:30 p.m. Saturday at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home. Survived by husband, Elmer Keller Sr. of Pahoa; sons Elmer (Amanda) Keller Jr. of Glenwood, John Keller and Jonathan Keller of Pahoa; daughters, Mary (Mario) Castillo of Pahoa, Crystal (Danny) Defries of Kauai and Alisha (Dustin) Willis of Hilo; brother, Eddie Grammer of Keaau; sister, Tina Alvarez of Hilo; 13 grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Eloise Waiola “Tweet” Krause, 50, of Kurtistown died July 19 at home. Born in Hawaii, she was a homemaker. Services at a later date. Sean Calvin Piilani “Braddah Boo” Miller, 49, of Honolulu, formerly of Hilo, died July 7 in Honolulu. Born in Honolulu, he was a prep chef at Memoirs Catering and formerly worked at Hale Oluea Clubhouse of Hilo. Visitation 1:30-2 p.m. Saturday at Kurtistown Assembly of God, 17-550 Volcano Road. Celebration of life service at 2 p.m. Reception to follow. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Scattering of ashes noon Sunday, Aug. 10, at Leleiwi (Waiolena Beach Park).
