The Coordinated Services for the Elderly Program of the county Elderly Activities Division issues identification cards for residents ages 60 and older.
The cards can be obtained Monday through Friday at the Aging and Disability Resource Center, 1055 Kinoole St., Suite 106, in Hilo.
For more information, call 961-8777 from 7:45 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Staff also will issue cards at the following times and locations in July:
• 1-3 p.m. Monday (July 2), Kamana Senior Center, Hilo
• 1-3 p.m. July 6, Keaau Community Center
• 9-10 a.m. July 9, Pahala Housing Center
• 11 a.m.-noon July 9, Naalehu Community Center
• 10 a.m.-noon July 9, CSE (Old Bank of Hawaii building), Kohala
• 9-11 a.m. July 10, Lily Yoshimatsu Senior Center, Waimea
• 9 a.m.-noon July 10, Walmart, Kailua-Kona
• 1-3 p.m. July 11, Hale Hau‘oli Senior Center, Honokaa
• 9 a.m.-noon July 25, West Hawaii Civic Center, Building B, Kailua-Kona
Note: Pahoa Senior Center is being used as a shelter for evacuees from the Kilauea eruption. Senior ID dates through December at the Pahoa center have been canceled.
