Various community volunteers and stakeholders in Puna are joining hands for a multiband event to raise funds for Puna evacuees.
Dubbed “Imua Puna,” the event will be from 3-10 p.m. Saturday at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie, 16-111 Opukahala St. in Keaau.
There is a $5 suggested love offering at the door. Evacuees enter and eat for free with ID
Headlining the event are popular Big Island entertainers Larry Dupio, JPGS, Body N Soul, Soul Town, Terrapin Station, Girls Nite Out, DD &the High Rollers, Unity &the Band of Angels and Tina Baugh Garber.
The event is sponsored by the Puna Community Medical Center, Island Naturals Food and Deli, Hank Correa Realty, Larry and Caroline Dupio, Orchidland Neighbors, Laulima Pahoa, Mainstreet Pahoa Association and many community volunteers.
