The Hawaii Science and Technology Museum, in partnership with Hilo Intermediate School, will host the inaugural Hawaii Explorations Expo, or HE‘E, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at Hilo Intermediate.
The Hawaii Science and Technology Museum, in partnership with Hilo Intermediate School, will host the inaugural Hawaii Explorations Expo, or HE‘E, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at Hilo Intermediate.
Funded by the Hawaii County Department of Research and Development and Economic Opportunity Council, the expo will feature innovation in the community.
Attendees can learn how to turn their own innovative ideas into a business and participate in hands-on science activities including space exploration, robotics, virtual reality, citizen science projects, automotive technology, marine biology, engineering and much more.
The keynote speaker will be “Mythbusters” alumnus Dr. Tracy Fanara from the MOTE Marine Lab in Sarasota, Fla.
