Robert “Bugsy” Paul Cordeiro, 85, of Ahualoa died April 23 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Waikii, he was a retired nursery supervisor for the former Hamakua Sugar Co., maintenance worker for the former Waimea Country Club, member and caretaker of the ILWU Jack Wayne Union Hall in Honokaa, grounds maintenance worker for the U.S. Postal Service in Honokaa, musician and member of the Honokaa Playboys Band and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa. Visitation 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday (May 12) at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Honokaa Catholic Cemetery. Casual attire.
