Brenda Angelo, 69, of Honokaa died Jan. 26 at home. Born in Haina, Honokaa, she was a retired administrative assistant for Mauna Kea Beach and Hapuna Prince hotels and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and Honokaa Hongwanji obon Dancers. Visitation 9-11 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 24) at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa. Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Paul Abitong Layaoen, 91, of Hilo died Feb. 1 at Hilo Medical Center.
