Japanese Community Association offering scholarships

The Japanese Community Association of Hawaii is offering scholarships up to $1,500 to graduating high school seniors and post-secondary students whose interest is primarily in Japanese studies.

Applicants must be residents of East Hawaii. Preference will be given to an applicant whose parent or guardian is a member in good standing of the Japanese Community Association of Hawaii.

This is the fourth year JCAH is offering these scholarships, primarily the result of support from the community.

Applications must be postmarked on or before March 30 and mailed to: JCAH, 714 Kanoelehua Ave., Suite 202, Hilo, HI 96720, or emailed to jcahawaii@yahoo.com.
